EVALUATION OF SCHOOL PAYMENT APPLICATION USER READINESS USING THE TECHNOLOGY READINESS INDEX (TRI) METHOD

In improving the school financial administration system, the author developed a website-based school payment application at the early childhood education level. This application makes it easier for school treasurers to manage school financial administration and reduces the risk of data loss or human error in recording payments. The school payment application is implemented in one of the Early Childhood Education areas in Rancakalong sub-district, namely PAUD Sejahtera. However, the success of implementing a school payment application does not solely depend on its technical functionality alone. Psychological, social, and organizational factors also play an important role in accepting and using these technologies. Therefore, evaluating user readiness in accepting and adopting school payment applications is important to understand. The method used in this research is the Technology Readiness Index. This method uses four variables, namely optimism, innovativeness, discomfort and insecurity. The respondents for this research consisted of school treasurers and parents, with a TRI score of 0.335 which was categorized in the medium technology readiness index, thus PAUD Sejahtera was ready to use the school payment application by paying attention to aspects of inconvenience and insecurity which still received low scores of 0.786 and 1.13.
