Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a company profile website for the welding workshop "Karya Teguh" using the prototyping method with a user experience-based approach. The prototyping method involves iterative creation and testing of an initial prototype. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted to understand the operational processes and information needs of the workshop, interviews were carried out with the owner and customers to gather feedback, and documentation involved collecting visual materials and related information. The initial prototype features key sections such as services, about us, welding services, and contact pages. User trials demonstrated that the website effectively enhances navigation, information delivery, and visual experience. Feedback suggested adding features like live chat and responsive adjustments to improve interaction and readability. The company profile website successfully achieved its goal of increasing the visibility and accessibility of "Karya Teguh" workshop. The prototyping method proved effective in creating designs that cater to user needs. By applying a user experience-based approach, the website better meets customer expectations, strengthens branding, and builds trust. Recommendations for future development include adding new features and regularly updating the content to ensure continued relevance and user satisfaction.
